Valentine’s Competition

Pitfield London’s resident florist, Tom Flowers, is offering the ultimate Valentine’s Day giveaway! You could win a romantic bouquet on Thursday 14th February 2013 (which can also be delivered on the day within a 2 mile radius of N1).

When East moves West

Hello everyone,

We hope you had a great weekend? On Friday, we were visited by Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldof and then the weekend just got better and better. We celebrated Australia Day on Saturday with special Lamington cake in the cafe, whilst our sale continued in the shop. Don’t miss out on the final clearance – ending soon.

In other exciting news, we’re proud to announce a new store opening! From this Sunday 3rd February 2013 for a minimum of 3 months, we’ll have a pop-up shop at Oxford Street’s Selfridges. We’ll be bringing our eclectic homeware products to the department store, as well as introducing exclusive new pieces.

Back in East London, we’ll be bringing you our first exhibition of 2013 in collaboration with Designersblock. Stay tuned for further updates to come in February. Ooh and don’t forget to sign up to our newsletter here.

Pitfield Shutters

Shoreditch is ever changing, constantly renewing, never boring. Last week, prolific street artist Ben Eine created this punchy new piece on Great Eastern Street, just around the corner from Pitfield London. Did you see it? Even more exciting is the fact we have rescued these shutters (below) from the office which was to become Pitfield. Better yet, they’re for sale!

From humble beginnings

All great projects start somewhere. To those in Shoreditch, it may seem as if Pitfield London sprang from nowhere. However, there was a time when Elle Decor, Time Out and the like would have doubted that we’d ever pull it off…

Luckily, we have a ‘happily ever after’ to our bleak looking, empty shop space. Back in September, we exhibited with the British Council’s This Way Up so that design lovers could see the eclectic and exciting products we’d be stocking!
