The Pitfield London team had a fantastic time at our private view party celebrating the Fiona Paxton exhibition last Thursday. The fabulous duo behind our Pitfield People tumblr blog were on hand to capture the evening, which was buzzy and bustling! We wished the Fiona Paxton jewellery brand a happy 5th birthday whilst guests mingled in-store. Guests enjoyed refreshing Paloma cocktails courtesy of Jose Cuervo – the recipe uses tangy grapefruit soda, a squeeze of lime and fresh grapefruit garnishes. Simply delicious!
To get your paws on Fiona’s signature geometric designs, visit the exhibition until 24th November. Limited edition collaborative products (a playfully printed rug and luxurious cotton sateen cushions) will leave a legacy in store, available to purchase throughout the year in our shop.
It was great to see a brilliant turn out of Pitfield London’s dedicated customers, Fiona Paxton fans and press from the Mail on Sunday to top fashion magazines and bloggers. We hope everyone had an enjoyable evening!
What’s more, just how wonderful is our pop-up, Pitfield Winchester looking? We think the bold citrus colours with calming grey and pastel green looks divine. If you fancy escaping the city, don’t forget to pay The Brooks shopping centre a visit!
Pitfield London loves this time of year; we hope you had a happy Halloween and are looking forward to the fireworks still to come tomorrow! The winter celebrations don’t stop there as this Thursday, 7th November at 6-9pm, we’re celebrating our collaboration with jewellery designer Fiona Paxton… alongside the brand’s 5th birthday!
Not only is Fiona exhibiting her striking geometric pieces from the past 10 seasons, there’s also collaborative products to purchase exclusively from Pitfield. A striking handmade Indian rug, with Fiona Paxton’s recognisable playful print, is taking pride of place in the gallery. Cotton sateen cushions have also been designed with a bold print in gorgeous blue and purple shades – the designs are limited edition so grab them whilst you can.
If you’d like to join us for the private view party then please RSVP email@example.com by Wednesday 6th November to ensure you’re added to our guest-list on time. We look forward to meeting you there with grapefruit soda tequila cocktails in hand, courtesy of our brilliant drinks sponsor for the event, Jose Cuervo.
Don’t panic if you can’t make the party because the Fiona Paxton show will be in place until 24th November. See you at 31-35 Pitfield Street soon!
Pitfield London loves helping out creatively and we often loan our one-off, quirky products to stylists, magazines and even other brands. Recently we were contacted by the lovely Anna at gorgeous designer fashion brand Pitchouguina. They’re a fellow East London based brand, with their studio in Hackney.
We love their dreamy pieces, delicate prints and use of soft textures. We couldn’t wait to see the shoot results of their sleek contemporary items next to our vintage gems. Our pretty French style garden chair (sadly now sold out) and vintage ladder worked a treat for their new Spring/Summer lookbook. Check out the tall steps on our website here, just £65…
Talking fashion, don’t forget we’ve teamed up with fabulous jewellery designer Fiona Paxton. The private view event is next week, 7th November, so don’t forget to get your RSVPs in to firstname.lastname@example.org if you haven’t responded already. Miss out on the invite? Sign up to our newsletter for future updates, exclusives and upcoming event details!

Alongside the collaborative homeware pieces, Fiona will show a selection of her archive statement pieces from the past 10 seasons. With a modern global traveller aesthetic, the likes of Kate Moss and Rihanna have sported her Art Deco and modern architecture inspired jewellery pieces.
Catch the show from 24th October to 24th November.

“Attracting the creative and curious”
If you haven’t checked out Pitfield People yet, then where have you been? The Pitfield London team joined forces with a brilliant art director and copywriter extraordinaire to bring you a blog which wasn’t just about our next exhibitions, pop-ups, sales and updates (cough cough) but was about YOU! We felt our interesting customers deserved a shout out too and we were intrigued to know just what they were choosing in our café for lunch or shop for their own homes or family’s and friend’s gifts – did their choices inspire you?
We’ll be taking the concept to our brand new pop-up in Winchester (check out their brand new blog site!) which launches on the…. 14th of this month! Stay tuned via Facebook and Twitter for news of a very special soft launch a couple of days before. Shhh.
Back in London, we’re still enjoying our London Design Festival 2013 exhibition with Deadgood but, come the 24th October, the space will be transformed! Check back next week for another post on our collaboration with British jewellery designer Fiona Paxton.
Have a great week Pitfield people x
Roll up, roll up, Pitfield London in Winchester is very nearly upon us! We’re hoping for the launch date to be just two weeks from now but it will take a huge team, wonderful suppliers, an incredible HR department, the best builders, painters and decorators and some extremely organised folk (to name but a few) to pull it all off.
The Winchester team popped by to 31-35 Pitfield Street today to steal some more key items(!) and ransack the stock areas where we’ve been storing unique vintage pieces, quirky homewares and beautiful Christmas gifts for our sister store.
Don’t forget to follow Pitfield Winchester over on their very own Twitter @pitfieldpopup and Facebook /pitfieldwinchester… Rumour has it a blog is on the way very soon too! They’ll also be getting involved in Pitfield People, our exciting new Tumblr blog, which introduces our customers, as creative and curious as our products! Do check it out if you haven’t already and just give us a shout if you’d like to be featured. Contact us 11am-7pm on 0207 490 6852 or email email@example.com.

The closing of London Design Festival sees the end of the Pitfield London pop-up at Design Junction! From the 18th to the 22nd September, we welcomed designers to our shop and café, serving up coffee and speciality teas for the weary, ice cold drinks and fresh orange juice for the hot and bothered, and homemade delicious eats from baguettes, sausage rolls, scotch eggs and salad to pastries, cakes and brownies for the downright hungry! We were also showcasing a mix of vintage, modern and reinvented pieces such as ornaments, cushions and a chair or two. Did you visit the stand?
Pop down to our Shoreditch store for more. Our exhibition with Deadgood will show in the Pitfield London gallery until Wednesday 16th October – see here for more about the Plex Collection installation.
Coming up, we pop-up again! This time in Winchester for four months. @pitfieldpopup brings the bustling city shop, café and gallery to the leafy suburbs so more can enjoy our eclectic wares. Stay tuned for the official launch date in early October…
