You may have noticed there’s an intruder in town! Namely, Pitfield London‘s new robot friend. What shall we call him? He looks like a Bob, or maybe Barry…
The wooden robot and friends make up our brand new window installation, the creation of HOTTOPIXXX. Not content with one ‘x’, they picked three! HOTTOPIXXX loved our store, believing it nearly matched their own level of quirkiness, so contacted us with a view to work on an installation together. We let them take creative control and this is what emerged! The team are made up of 6 designers, illustrators and artists (namely Daniele, Dionne, Els, Fin, Geneva and Josh – see their website for individual links); together they produce large scale installation pieces for events and cool locations – e.g. us! The window installation was unveiled at last week’s private view alongside our current exhibition, ‘Common Birds’ by Louise West.
For a limited time only, admire the wooden window explosion, complete with mushy peas van (why not?) and let us know what you think to our new look over on Facebook and Twitter. Don’t forget to sign up to our newsletter too so you won’t miss out on future exhibitions and events.
Thanks HOTTOPIXXX, we think the window couldn’t get wackier!
