Louise West exhibition

Tweet tweet! The next exhibition to hit our gallery space is the wonderful illustrations of Louise West. A selection of stunning detailed watercolour paintings will be on display, alongside quirky brightly patterned works. ‘Common Birds in memory of Katy Cullis, 1892 – 1976′ opens this Monday 20th May and will run until 20th June.

Collaborative products for you to take home include a wallpaper, designed in-house, colourful bird mugs and a quirky motif tea towel.

Pitfield exhibition gallery

Happy April all!

We said goodbye to our first exhibition of 2013, Designersblock x Pitfield London, at the end of last month. The colourful madness that was 30+ designers from Designersblock fused with eclectic Pitfield products has been replaced with an inspiring vignette for the new season! Elsewhere, our window display is showcasing a spring cleaning theme with assorted pieces both practical and pretty!

Back to our exhibition gallery, you’ll find a stunning room set, which amalgamates investment furniture pieces with cheap and cheerful delights from a retro telephone to vintage ornaments and even some wacky taxidermy!

Next up in our exhibition gallery (from mid May) is a bird cluttered extravaganza! Illustrator Louise West will be displaying her beautiful sketches in an installation dedicated to birdies! Also on show will be a bright wallpaper, designed in-house, with Louise’s work and inexpensive mementos for all to enjoy! Choose a bright and cheery mug with bird illustration or even a lime green tea towel with owl and humorous slogan. Livingetc House Tours

Pitfield London owners Shaun Clarkson and Paul Brewster throw open the doors to their home this Friday 22nd March. Selected as an inspirational North London home, Livingetc readers and House Tour participants can step into the lives of Shaun and Paul, taking in their colourful, curiosity packed residence! See here for all the tour information. Funds raised on the tour go to the Crisis charity so it’s a worthy cause as well as great opportunity for design inspiration!

Fit@Pitfield

Wow, sometimes it seems like so much is going on around here! In a good way of course… Heard of Fit@Pitfield yet? Our new health and fitness club is held every Saturday at 9am or 11am. Meet at Pitfield London, jog to Shoreditch Park, Hoxton Square or similar with top personal trainer Ben Sharp, engage in a fun and motivating hour’s work out, before returning to our cafe for a delicious reward! A filling and nutritious breakfast of poached egg and avocado with yummy fruit smoothie will keep your energy levels up.

The session costs £20 or sign up for 10 sessions and get a deal at £150.

Designersblock x Pitfield London

THIS THURSDAY 14TH FEBRUARY 2013, 6-9PM

You’re invited to the launch party and private view of our first exhibition of 2013 with the brilliant Designersblock. We’ve got lots lined up for the evening including live distilling on the perfumery stand and Technology Will Save Us workshops. That’s not to mention all the fabulous design and emerging talent that will be showcased in our gallery space. The installation will run until 21st March.

Alexander James at Pitfield

Exhibition open 6th December 2012 – January 2013

Private view party – 6th December 2012, 6-9pm

As featured in the Sunday Telegraph’s Panorama, our next exhibition features the work of photographer Alexander James. The collaboration will feature a striking photomural, beautiful wallpaper designed in-house, luxurious silk and velvet cushions and glass paperweights. The limited edition products will go on sale at the private view, happening this week on December’s first thursday.

Pitfield London: Close-up

London wingback chairs, £950 each

From our Celebration! exhibition (a collaboration with journalist and photographer Barbara Chandler), came fantastic products, which blended photography and graphic print.

Our eccentric wingback chairs showcase recognisable London architecture, surrounded by soft blue to frame the back and seat.

These chairs (and more furniture, gifts, carpets and curiosities) will be available at our pop-up shop, cafe and bar at Tent London – starting tomorrow! Don’t forget to swing by and say hi!
